When I first learned that I had been selected to receive the Georgia REALTORS® Good Neighbor Award, I felt deeply honored. The award recognizes real estate professionals who dedicate time and leadership to serving their communities, and simply being considered was meaningful to me.
But then I learned something that completely surprised me.
Along with the recognition comes a significant donation to the nonprofit organization of the recipient’s choice.
When I heard that part, the moment suddenly felt even more meaningful. Community service has always been something that feels personal to me. Being able to direct a donation to an organization doing important work in our community made the recognition about something much bigger than myself.
Later, when I saw the article written about the award, I sat down and read it quietly. As I read the story and reflected on the people and experiences that have shaped my journey, I found myself unexpectedly moved to tears.
Moments like that have a way of reminding us how many people have encouraged us, supported us, and walked alongside us over the years.
Community involvement has always been an important part of my life. Whether it’s through service projects, working alongside local organizations, or simply showing up where help is needed, those experiences have shaped how I approach both life and business.

While much of my work focuses on helping families buy and sell homes in McDonough and throughout Henry County, being part of this community goes far beyond real estate for me.
It’s about relationships, service, and doing what we can to make the place we call home just a little bit better.
